Did my 6.5miler, although it was overcast it was still very warm. Just took my time and had a nice relaxed run. No world records but another 6 miles under my belt.
Onwards and upwards! Hard to believe you've done 43 runs so far. Also - banging out a 6 miler as "a nice relaxed run" - bet you didn't think you'd be saying that a few months ago!
I'm away for the next few weeks but hopefully I will be able to pick up a 3G signal and read your blog on my phone.
Hope to keep on top of full training when I am away. Especially as I will be eating more!
Don't know about your neck of the woods but there is light drizzle up in Stonehaven this morning which is perfect for running. Hope it is the same with you and you have a blast.
Loved running since my mid teens. Had a 10 year lay-off when I decided to lift weights. Last 12 months did nothing and decided now was the time to buck the trend and get back out running.

Very true Dave, tomorrow is a 12miler which will be only the 3rd time in my life I've ran that distance.
ReplyDeleteShould be fun!
Off anywhere nice?
Enjoy the 12 miler. Hopefully it wont be hot!
ReplyDeleteWe are off to see my folks in Ireland for a couple of weeks and will be caravaning (hence no internet).
Are you hoping to get a bit of running in whilst you're away?
ReplyDeleteI'm setting out nice and early (thats the intention anyway) tomorrow morning to hopefully avoid the worst!
